About This Product
The 8862 test system features a uniaxial electromechanical actuator developed for low speed static testing, low strain rate testing, and quasi-dynamic cycling testing. These systems are equipped with a two-column loading frame with high stiffness and precision alignment for exceptional testing performance. The test space can be configured to meet the requirements of the application purpose. The high-capacity 8862 test machine can be equipped with actuators on the lower table or upper crosshead for greater ease of use, and can optionally be equipped with a hydraulic lifting device.
The combination of the latest features of the 8800 digital controller and Instron's advanced fatigue-rated load cell technology makes the 8860 series suitable for low cycle fatigue testing, thermomechanical fatigue testing, high temperature static testing, creep fatigue testing, low strain rate testing, and ceramic Ideal for use in exams.
The console software provides all system control functions such as PC-based waveform generation, calibration, limit setting, and condition monitoring. Add WaveMatrix3 block loading software for simple and complex testing of materials and components, Bluehill® software for a variety of static tests, or LCF3 software for low-cycle fatigue testing at elevated temperatures.
