About This Product

Achromatic half-wave wave plates are constructed of crystalline quartz and magnesium fluoride birefringent crystals with an air-space design. Compared to quartz zero-order half-wave plates, quartz-MgF2 achromatic wave plates offer superior retardation accuracy over a broadband wavelength range. They are less expensive than achromatic polymer film waveplates and have a higher damage threshold. ■Features -Delay accuracy of ±λ/50 over entire wavelength range ・Excellent retardation accuracy ・High damage threshold - Lower cost than achromatic polymer film wave plates ・Ideal for ultra-high speed laser applications
