About This Product
■Features of 3-axis galvano scanner
The 3-axis galvano scanner from Germany's Raylase is a 3D deflection unit that adds a Z-axis to the 2D XY deflection unit and is compatible with 3D processing. It can be used for on-the-fly processing of moving objects, and depending on the setup, it is possible to process three-dimensional parts or uneven surfaces.
It can process a wide scan area of up to 2,000mm x 2,000mm with a small spot diameter. It combines robustness, high speed and high flexibility, allowing you to change working distance, scanning area and spot size in one unit. Can be used with various lasers such as Nd:AG, diode, and CO2 lasers.
The laser beam first enters a linear translator module with a movable lens. The beam, which is rapidly diverged by a movable lens, passes through one or two condensing lenses. The beam then enters the deflection unit and is deflected to any X-Y position within the marking field.
For deflection units without focus correction, when movement in either axis occurs, the focused spot at the center of the field traces an arc, creating a sphere of focused spots over the working area. The laser beam will not be focused away from the center of the work area. This is because as the scanner attempts to move the beam away from the center of the area, the length from the lens to the workpiece increases.
In a 3-axis deflection unit, the scanner guides the beam across the work area with a Z-axis movement. Therefore, focusing can be corrected by slightly adjusting the distance between the movable lens and the condenser lens.
■AXIALSCAN-20/-30
AXIALSCAN-20/-30 deflection units offer small spot diameters with large scanning areas, flexibility, fast scanning, long-term stability, low drift and excellent quality standards. The combination of high power density to the spot is enabling new applications and lower system costs. The area size of the deflection unit is designed to be variable from 100mm x 100mm to 1,800mm x 1,800mm.
