About This Product
Newport's ultrashort pulse beam splitters are designed to split or combine laser light in the 700-950nm range. The splitting ratio for S-polarized light with an incident angle of 45 degrees is 50/50 R/T. Both the front beam splitting surface and the rear AR coated surface feature low GVD coatings to minimize pulse dispersion.

■Thin UV synthetic quartz substrate
Newport's ultrashort pulse beam splitters are designed to minimize pulse dispersion and maximize bandwidth for beam sampling and autocorrelation measurements of ultrafast laser pulses. Thin UV grade fused silica substrate with specially designed coating and λ/10 wavefront distortion minimizes GDD in reflection and transmission.
■S polarization beam splitter
The UB.2 beam splitter is used to equally split S-polarized light from 700 to 950 nm at a 45° angle of incidence and is ideal for output from Spectra Physics Tsunami® Tsunami ultrafast lasers. Anti-reflective coating on the back minimizes surface reflection loss and eliminates ghost images.
■P polarization beam splitter
The UB.4 beam splitter is used to equally split P-polarized light from 680 to 1,080nm at a 45 degree angle of incidence and is suitable for Solstice®, Spitfire®, MaiTai® Solstice®, Spitfire®, or Mai Tai®. Ideal for Spectra Physics ultra-high speed amplifiers and oscillators. The back side is not coated.
