Narrow line width & low noise. DFB laser based longitudinal mode single single frequency laser. Koheras single frequency lasers are single longitudinal mode lasers with extremely low phase and intensity noise levels.
Available in ytterbium, erbium, or thulium wavelength ranges, with frequency conversion to many other bands. All lasers feature a fiber DFB design ensuring robust and reliable operation for thousands of hours. Model Koheras HARMONIK is ideal for quantum sensing, laser cooling & atom trapping.

Koheras fiber lasers are longitudinal mode single, single frequency, ultra-low noise sources. A fully integrated system based on the DFB design, ensuring robust and reliable oscillation suitable for both industry and research. It has unparalleled low phase and amplitude noise levels, extremely stable mode-hop-free single frequency output even in harsh environments. For applications requiring even lower intensity noise levels, we also offer shot noise reduction models.
The Koheras series emits CW oscillation in the 1μm and 1.5μm wavelength bands. Output power level is 10mW to 15W. The 755-780nm SHG output model has a maximum output power of 7W.
Many laser parameters such as wavelength, output power, and RIN (relative intensity noise) suppression can be controlled and read directly from the front panel or via a PC with the GraphiK program. A thermal tuning function is also included as standard, and a high-speed piezo tuning function can be added as an option.
