The quality and reliability of the MultiHarp 160 is reflected in our exclusive 5-year warranty. ■Expansibility up to 64 input channels The number of input channels can be expanded as needed. The main unit (MultiHarp 160 M) offers 16 channels, which can be expanded with up to 3 expansion units (MultiHarp 160 X). Each expansion unit adds 16 channels to the event timer and allows you to choose between 16, 32, 48 or 64 sync input channels. MultiHarp 160 M also features a synchronization channel as a timing reference for all 16 to 64 input channels. This synchronization channel supports periodic synchronization rates up to 1.2GHz. Data from all input channels is combined into a single data stream accessible via the USB 3.0 interface. No additional sync tools required. All channels of the MultiHarp 160 (including the common synchronization input) can be used as detector inputs, e.g. for coincidence or coincidence counting. The MultiHarp 160 is also ideal for performing TCSPC on multiple detectors using forward start/stop operation. Here, a common synchronization channel allows synchronization with the excitation light source.
