About This Product
This is an interferometer that can measure the end face of optical connectors in 3D. Using a Michelson interferometer, high resolution and wide range measurement is possible with a wide range of fiber connector types. It is possible to check the polishing quality and inspect the shape of the connector end face in accordance with IEC (international standard).
■Features of optical connector end face 3D measurement interferometer
The Optical Connector Endface 3D Measurement Interferometer is an interferometer designed for inspection of optical fiber ferrules, patch cords, pigtails, and bare fibers during polishing and assembly processes. Using a Michelson interferometer. It supports a wide range of measurements even with the same resolution, and can display clear 3D images.
This product series is also designed as an ergonomic inspection jig and includes intuitive and easy-to-use software. It is possible to inspect the shape of the connector end face and check the polishing quality in accordance with IEC international standards.
■Achieve high-resolution 3D measurement
Achieves high resolution of 0.53μm for single-core connectors and 1.47μm for multi-core connectors.
■Clear 3D image display
Clear 3D image display using a Michelson interferometer enables detailed analysis of connector end faces.
■3D measurement in a wide field of view
6.0×4.4mm (*MAX-Quantum) Enables measurement from guide hole to guide hole of MPO connector. A wide range of measurements is possible with the same resolution.
■Side+Front View function (angle/parallelism measurement)
The angle and parallelism of the guide pin can be measured using the Side + Front View function. (Compatible models: Max-Quantum, MAX-QM+)
■3D measurement autofocus function
Focusing can be done with one click and 3D measurement of optical connector end face is possible.
■3D measurement automatic flaw determination function
The automatic scratch detection function identifies scratches as small as 0.53μm. (Compatible models: Max-Quantum, MAX-QS+)
■Special mounting jig that does not require calibration
A variety of dedicated mounting jigs (sold separately) eliminate the need for daily calibration work.
■Easy to use software (Japanese supported)
All measurement data can be saved in one place and output in PDF, Excel/CSV format.
