Using the QCM (quartz crystal microbalance) method, we analyze interactions between molecules and the properties of solutions such as biofilms and blood in real time at the nano-level. 3T Analytik's sophisticated QCM-D instrument family, the qCell series, is a QCM-D instrument that can analyze viscoelasticity and film thickness not only by mass change but also by adsorption analysis. Common features of the qCell series include compactness, ease of use, low noise, flow measurement type for use with pumps, and load-free sensor cells. In particular, the crystal oscillator that serves as the sensor is fixed to a stamp-sized sheet, allowing for stress-free handling.Each sensor is assigned an individual ID number, making it possible to centrally manage experiments. There is one convenient feature that is unique to this machine. The unique sensor cell design eliminates convection within the cell. The definitive version of QCM-D that will not let users down.
