About This Product

This is a non-destructive inspection device that inspects internal abnormalities and defects in objects using the laser ultrasound method (a method that uses ultrasonic waves generated by irradiating the surface of the object with a pulsed laser). The pulses generated by the pulsed laser irradiated on the surface reach abnormal areas and defects inside the material, and then return to the surface, causing minute displacements in the surface condition.
Defects can be detected by capturing this minute displacement into a receiver using a probe laser. In addition to defect inspection, it is also possible to perform completely non-contact thickness measurement by measuring the arrival time of ultrasonic waves. *It can be used not only for nondestructive testing and thickness measurement, but also as a device for analyzing the behavior of RF-MEMS and BAW/SAW devices.
