About This Product

Attocube's laser interferometric displacement sensors measure the linear motion of a target. Displacement-measuring interferometers based on Fabry-Perot interferometers that can measure a wide variety of materials and geometries with high precision and offer long working distances ranging from a few millimeters to up to 5 meters. Patented fiber-based technology features a modular setup and extremely compact sensor head configurable up to 3 axes. Furthermore, it can be applied to vibration measurement, rotational runout measurement, and machine tool calibration. Position signals can be used as input signals for closed-loop positioning systems. ■Laser interference displacement sensor IDS3010 A compact modular laser interferometric displacement sensor with sub-nanometer accuracy. Modular displacement-measuring interferometer with 3-axis configuration possible. It can be easily installed in challenging OEM applications in extreme environments such as general atmospheric environments, ultra-high vacuum, and radiation environments. This series is a smaller and improved version of the conventional series, and can measure one-dimensional displacement (relative variation distance) with nanometer precision. The compact modular design allows for easy adaptation to three measurement axes (XYZ) in a wide range of applications. It is also easy to integrate directly into machines, making it ideal for challenging OEM and synchrotron applications. The passively cooled housing minimizes noise and vibration and does not interfere with other optical or electrical components. Furthermore, in applications where space is limited, the sensor head can be controlled remotely using a glass fiber connection. Attocube's Fabry-Perot interferometer technology reduces the number of sensor head components and provides more stable measurements. A wide range of digital and analog real-time interfaces and protocols simplify the transmission of location data. High-speed interfaces for real-time data communication are available with AquadB, proprietary serial word (HSSL), and synthetic analog sin/cos/linear analog output signals. All signals can be output as either single-ended (LVTTL) or differential (LVDS).
