High image quality and high-definition display for 8K content production applications
■Equipped with an 8K LCD panel with high brightness and high contrast ratio
The overwhelming resolution of approximately 33 million pixels makes 8K video extremely realistic. Furthermore, it achieves high brightness performance with a peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m2 and a total white of 800 cd/m2, as well as a high contrast ratio of 1 million:1, making it possible to express brightness and darkness more faithfully.
■32V type ideal for video editing work
A 32V type that can be installed in a limited space such as a tabletop and work with a short viewing distance. You can check the entire image at a viewing distance of 50 to 60 cm, and you can check details by looking down to 25 to 30 cm.
■Compatible with HDR images. Furthermore, wide color gamut display of Rec.2020 is possible.
It can be used in the production process of HDR content in a wide range of genres. It supports HDR video of the HLG format used in 4K/8K broadcasting and live broadcasting, and the PQ format for packaged media and online video distribution.
■HDR compatible
It supports a wide color gamut that achieves 85% coverage of Rec.2020, which is the color standard for 4K/8K broadcasting and reproduces almost all colors that exist in nature. The range of color expression has been greatly expanded, allowing delicate and rich color depiction.
■"SHARP Advanced UCCT" technology that significantly reduces color unevenness
Unique features enable highly uniform, high-quality display. The display characteristics for various RGB input signals are measured in a small area, and color unevenness and brightness unevenness are corrected for each RGB signal in a local area.
■Maintain high quality display with hardware calibration
Supports hardware calibration using the dedicated software "SHARP Display Calibration Utility". By using a commercially available colorimetric sensor, changes in display brightness and color temperature due to aging can be corrected.
■8K60Hz video input terminal
You can display 8K high-definition video by connecting commercially available 8K devices such as computers and cameras with an HDMI cable.
