About This Product
■Prerequisites for vertical lashing
- It is necessary to ensure a high frictional force between the load and the loading platform and between stacked loads. You need to know the coefficient of sliding friction μ (mu).
- If possible, the vertical angle α should reach 90°. You should know this.
- The load must be able to withstand increased clamping force.
-Lashing points must be suitable for the load.
- It is necessary to know the value of the necessary and most important factor, the clamping force, applied by the tensioner.
■Diagonal lashing
There is a securing method called diagonal lashing that does not require high clamping forces (STF) and as many lashing systems as vertical lashing. If a large clamping force is constantly applied and excessive load is applied due to repeated cornering, the lashing system will become fatigued. STF must be less than half of the lashing capacity (LC).
For diagonal lashing, the following characteristics must be respected in all cases: The arrangement and position of the lashing strands with respect to the corresponding load direction is very important.
