ROBA®-slip hub is a very easy to use product. The torque table allows for scale-based adjustment and greatly simplifies installation.
Affordable drive elements protect machines and equipment from costly damage and eliminate downtime due to lengthy repairs.
It is constructed from strong materials, carefully engineered to maximize space, and is smaller than comparable clutches. With 12 designs and combinations to choose from, there's a solution for every drive.
■Application
Serves as overload protection for mechanical drives with chain sprockets, gears, pulleys, etc. Used when expensive and sensitive motors, gears, mechanical parts, etc. need to be protected from overload. In the event of overload, the drive element slips and torque is limited.
It is used in packaging machinery, transportation machinery and equipment, construction machinery, textile machinery, agricultural machinery, conveyor systems, feeding equipment, loading systems, equipment in the chemical industry, and equipment and systems in general mechanical engineering.
