■Summary
This is a sedimentation index measurement test that can measure the quality of wheat gluten and the influence of pests.
■Features
・We have all the necessary equipment to perform the Zeleny test.
・The shaker can shake up to 6 samples at the same time.
・The shaking operation is automatically adjusted to the specified 40 revolutions/minute and the number of revolutions is displayed on the screen.
・After 5 minutes of operation time, it will automatically stop and a voice notification will sound.
-Equipped with 6 individual timers.
-You can monitor the remaining time of shaking work and the environmental temperature from the screen.
■Measurement flow
1. Prepare flour by grinding wheat with adjusted moisture content in a mill with specified performance and sifting it to specified specifications.
Add flour to 2.50ml of bromophenol solution and shake horizontally about 18cm 12 times for 5 seconds.
3. Place on a special shaking machine and shake for 5 minutes.
Add 4.25 ml of lactic acid solution and shake for an additional 5 minutes using a special shaker.
5. Stand the container upright and wait for 5 minutes for settling.
6. Read the height of the sediment (in milliliters).
