■Summary
A small multilayer bellows with an inner diameter of 3 mm is used as a highly precisely displaced sealing element in a piezoelectric injector. This bellows is flexible enough to allow the piezo element to produce small, high-speed displacements while remaining sealed to keep the piezo element completely dry.
This product is also used in the accumulators installed in the brake systems of hybrid vehicles, which can generate high braking force even when the motor stops.
