■Operating principle
Most suspended solids measuring instruments are based on a method of processing ultrasonic attenuation by comparing received signal amplitude changes. According to this method, the volume of solids in the liquid remains fixed, but highly accurate measurements cannot be made because the pipe shape and speed affect the stability and reliability of the measurement. Our ENV200 model improves accuracy by using a method that calculates the energy using the received signal envelope rather than using changes in received signal amplitude.
