Infineon's my-d™ has two modes: plain mode, which allows free access to memory, and secure mode, which allows access to memory to be restricted through authentication. With my-d™'s interoperability-friendly architecture, you can easily change your application from simple to advanced.
Flexible management features of my-d™ devices include plain mode operation with the ability to lock individual pages. Additionally, for more advanced applications, various settings in secure mode allow for multi-user and multi-application configurations.
In plain mode, memory can be accessed in units of 4 bytes per block and 8 bytes per page. Secure mode allows you to use cryptographic algorithms based on 64-bit keys. Protect memory from unauthorized access with mutual authentication, Message Authentication Code (MAC), and customizable access rights management. Value counters with anti-tearing are suitable for token applications such as same-day train tickets.
