About This Product
■HYPERRAM™: Low pin count, high performance pSRAM in a small footprint
HYPERRAM™ is a high-speed CMOS self-refresh DRAM with HyperBus™ interface. Memory arrays are internally organized like DRAM, but externally behave like SRAM.
DRAM arrays require periodic refreshes to retain data. Because HYPERRAM does not require the host to manage refresh operations, the DRAM array appears to the host as a static cell that retains data without being refreshed. Therefore, HYPERRAM™ can also be referred to as pseudo-static RAM (PSRAM).
Low power, high performance, and low pin count, pSRAM is suitable for applications that require additional RAM, such as data buffers, audio, images, video, or scratchpads for math and data intensive operations.
