■Performance/Functions
The PLZ-U series is a compact, high-performance unit type DC electronic load device that has five operating modes: constant current, constant resistance, constant voltage, constant current + constant voltage, and constant resistance + constant voltage. This device, which uses a unit (plug-in) system, consists of a series of 4 models: a frame (2 models) and a load unit (2 models).
The "load unit" is inserted into the "frame" which serves as the control section. Up to 3 channels of load units can be mounted on the frame PLZ-30F, and up to 5 channels on the frame PLZ-50F. Load units are available in 70UA (compatible with 0V input, 75W) and 150U (operates from 1.5V, 150W).
Load units can be operated in parallel, so the current capacity and power capacity can be flexibly changed according to the output of the test object, from 75W to 750W (when five PLZ150Us are installed on the PLZ-50F). .
In addition to a high-speed response with a maximum slew rate of 2.4A/μs (with PLZ150U) and a minimum setting resolution of 10μA (with PLZ70UA), it also features a soft start function, variable slew rate, switching function, ABC preset memory, and 4-wire setup. It is equipped with a variety of functions, including memory, sequence functions, and a combination of timer and time/voltage measurement functions to enable evaluation of battery discharge characteristics.
GPIB and RS232-C communication functions are standard equipment, so it can be easily integrated into various inspection systems, and can be used to test fuel cells, secondary batteries, DC/DC converters, switching power supplies, etc. Useful for exams. Each interface supports SCPI as well as IEEE488.2.
