About This Product
This tarpaulin has been certified as non-combustible by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and has the feature of preventing flames from penetrating it for a certain period of time, contributing to securing evacuation time in the event of a fire.
The ``light-shielding type'' has a high light-shielding property with a light-shielding rate of 99.9%, so it can block out light from the outside. It contributes to storage management and fire prevention in warehouses and indoor storage areas that cannot be exposed to direct sunlight, such as UV deterioration of products due to sunlight from windows and chemicals that may ignite due to heat from visible light.
■What is PVC nonflammable tarpaulin?
- A sheet with glass cloth as the middle layer sandwiched between PVC films on both sides. It is non-combustible based on the standards for fire-retardant materials under the Building Standards Act.
・As it is more flexible and lightweight than conventional non-combustible materials such as glass, even if the sheet falls during a disaster, it is unlikely to cause serious injury, and evacuation can be done by cutting the sheet with a commercially available cutter or scissors.
・Hard partitions such as non-combustible panels and glass may fall and break pieces will be scattered on the floor, creating a risk of secondary damage and blocking evacuation routes.
Partitions covered with sheets will not crack, reducing the risk of secondary damage.
