The AM/P series high-speed small-hole electrical discharge machine offers excellent cost performance due to its rich functionality and ease of operation that anyone can use. Adopts a separate type that separates the main body of the machine and the power supply, allowing users to freely combine them according to their usage conditions. Furthermore, the A33M type has a gate-shaped, V-flat structure that enables high rigidity and high precision machining. We respond to diverse needs with our unique technology and new styles.
Main features
■Achieves high-speed machining from small to large diameters
By adopting a high-power power supply that is optimized for machining various materials (metals), it is possible to perform high-speed machining of deep holes from small to large diameter holes, making it possible to significantly improve production efficiency.
■Significantly suppresses burr generation at the entrance of the machined surface
The CPU circuit built into the power supply has a unique circuit design that automatically increases the machining current value from 0 to the target set value with each step. As a result, burrs generated at the entrance to the machined surface are significantly reduced, providing a high-quality machined surface.
■Ideal for automation
Since it is equipped with the Z auto function, machining can be completed by simply setting the machining depth value (Zd) and electrode elevation value (Zu) and pressing the start switch. In addition, by using an I/O terminal block (optional), you can connect external devices such as index tables and easily automate.
■Built-in processing condition preset function
15 patterns of processing conditions can be registered, allowing efficient processing of various workpieces. Additionally, processing conditions can be changed freely.
Features and equipment
■AUTO processing function
Automatically performs processing from start to finish with just one signal.
■Soft limit function
If the electrode becomes shorter than the set value during machining, the Z-axis will automatically rise after the machining is completed.
■3-step processing function
In order to reduce the adhesion of molten material at the machining entrance and improve machining stability at the machining exit, three types of machining conditions are automatically switched depending on the machining depth.
■Electrode wear check function
Check whether the holes are being drilled properly by checking the wear of the electrode.
■Depth specified processing function
You can machine a specified depth (blind hole) without worrying about electrode wear.
■Counter function
Outputs a signal at the set number of processing times.
