About This Product
■What is Dow pelletizer?
When the rotating shaft inside the granulator rotates at high speed, the pins embedded in the rotating shaft in a spiral form apply a large stirring force and rolling force to the object, resulting in efficient granulation. We have an excellent track record in granulating dust for collected dust and general raw material transportation systems. In addition, a 2-axis inconstant velocity self-cleaning mechanism minimizes dust adhesion to the rotating shaft, allowing stable operation.

・Since the casing is closed from the dust supply to the discharge of the granulated pellets, there is no dust scattering during the granulation process (recommended for those who have trouble with dust scattering during pan-type granulation)

■Applications of granulator
・Mixing and granulation of fertilizer raw materials
・Multiple raw materials are mixed uniformly in the previous stage kneading machine, and then granulated to the appropriate particle size (2 to 4 mm) for fertilizer in the granulator.
・Pelletization of collected dust from electric furnaces in the steel industry
・The dust generated from the electric furnace is collected by a dust collector, and in order to be reinjected into the electric furnace, the dust is granulated using a granulator to the extent that it does not scatter.
・Pelletization of zinc-based dust from iron-based reduction furnaces in the steel industry
・As an effective use of the zinc contained in iron-based dust, we use a granulator to granulate the dust to prevent it from scattering and to make it easier to handle, in order to transport it by truck to a zinc smelter.
・Pelletization of fuel (powder) for waste melting furnaces
■Pelletization process from powder to grains
・“Water” or “water + binder” is added to powder particles
・Water comes into contact with powder particles, and other powder particles are gradually collected due to the surface tension of the water, forming granulation nuclei.
・Moisture spreads evenly between powder particles due to stirring action. At the same time, the granulation nuclei grow larger using water as a binding material.
・The rolling action compresses the grains and granulates them into a spherical shape. Moisture exists as a water film on the particle surface, and excess moisture comes out to the particle surface and attaches new particles, forming grain pellets of a certain size.
