■Summary
A narrowband wavelength plate is a waveplate created by laminating layers using our unique welding technology.The narrowband wavelength plate has the function of rotating the vibration direction of incident polarized light only for the selected color (only for the selected wavelength band). This function makes it possible to design an optical system that separates and recombines polarized light by color when combined with other optical components. For this reason, wave plates created by our company are used in many optical systems that use polarized light.
■Applications
In recent years, due to technological innovations in light sources, etc., the layout of light sources is becoming more flexible. By combining optical components such as a narrowband wavelength plate and a prism beam splitter (PBS), it is possible to control the polarization of each RGB color and create a unique optical design.
