About This Product
This product was developed based on the currently available PM mode-locked Er fiber laser kit (FL-MLEr-kit-PM), and includes an oscillator, amplifier, and highly nonlinear fiber for wideband use. One of its major features, broadband coherent light in the 0.95 μm to 2.4 μm band, includes the eye-safe wavelength band (1.5 μm, 2.0 μm), and is useful for various applications such as LIDAR, spatial communication, and gas detection. It can be applied to various fields.
Additionally, operating with highly coherent ultrashort pulses is an important factor in these applications. Optical comb (optical frequency comb) is a cutting-edge laser technology that won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2005 and is also used as a ``measure of light'' and a national standard for ``length.''
Koukyo's broadband optical comb (optical frequency comb) kit product can be assembled like a model while reading the manual, making it easy to learn fiber laser development know-how. Furthermore, the kit format provides a high degree of freedom, allowing the configuration to be rearranged as needed as research progresses.
