Ultrashort pulse lasers (femtosecond lasers and picosecond lasers) cost several million to 10 million yen when purchased as a finished product, but with this mode-locked Yb fiber laser kit, it costs 980,000 yen (excluding tax). Femtosecond and picosecond lasers can be constructed. Since you can assemble it like a model while reading the manual, you can easily learn the know-how for developing laser light sources.

■Configuration
This kit uses nonlinear polarization rotation as the mode-locking method. We select proven elements and adjust the height (optical axis) of the optical components so that the laser beam passes through the various optical elements. At the earliest, mode synchronization can be applied within a few hours after delivery.
