Features
■Low shear stirring
C-MIX® uses centrifugal force to create a stirring flow that sucks up sediment. Since there are no protrusions such as blades, it has the advantage that shearing force is less likely to be applied to the object being stirred. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including culturing animal cells where it is not desired to apply shear force, reactions that produce precipitates, and stirring solid-liquid materials such as slurry dispersion.
■Easy installation just by inserting it into the flask
Since it can be used by inserting it into the common joint of the flask, it takes less time to install than a device that combines a general stirrer and stirring seal. It eliminates the need to move a heavy agitator and align its axis, allowing for easy and reliable installation.
■Robust sealing properties
Adopts a disk type magnetic coupling. Seal the inside of the flask with the bulkhead and O-ring. Ideal for reactions using volatile organic solvents and stirring with gas sealed in a flask. Since the driving parts do not come into contact with the O-ring, there is no loss of sealing performance due to wear. Leakage can be prevented even during long-time stirring, and the generation of abrasion particles is also suppressed.
■Separate the stirrer body and operation section
Since the stirrer and stirring seal are compact, it does not take up much space even when installed inside a draft chamber. Furthermore, the controller is separated and can be operated from outside the fume hood.
■Easy to disassemble and clean
Each part can be disassembled and assembled without tools, making cleaning easy. Easy cleaning prevents contamination from residue.
