About This Product
Density testing is made simple with fully automatic density testing equipment from TA Instruments. This fully programmable automatic system uses a differential (buoyancy) method to measure the density of vulcanized rubber materials. Active measurement of liquid temperature can improve accuracy by accounting for small changes in the density of the immersion liquid with temperature.

Automatically fed sample trays with a sample capacity of 20 or 30 enable reliable, continuous, unattended density measurements. This powerful automation feature is enhanced by software test setup, data collection, and pass/fail criteria.
■High precision density measurement
Differential methods for density determination depend on whether the sample weight is determined dry or immersed in a liquid (usually water). The difference between dry weight and soaked weight is used in conjunction with known fluid density to measure the volume of the specimen with high accuracy regardless of geometry. A double clipper and carriage system is used to ensure that the dry weight value is completely unaffected by system moisture or cross-contamination.
Each sample is completely immersed through a user-defined number of separate immersions prior to immersion mass measurement. This prevents errors due to incomplete immersion and improves accuracy and precision.
