■Integrated multi-axis system - IMAS
The X-417 multi-axis system is an integrated solution for industrial applications with high demands on dynamics and precision. We offer XY or XYZ systems equipped with PI's ACS high-performance controller. The basic system is an XY system consisting of two V-417 high-load linear stages with linear motors and absolute measuring linear encoders.
Combinations of several travel ranges are possible: from 204 mm to 407 mm. The XY system is also available with a granite plate. The XYZ system uses an L-412 high-load linear stage with a 102 mm travel range, synchronous servo motor, and holding brake as the Z-axis.
It is also possible to use a granite plate as a base for the XYZ system. For these systems, the scope of delivery includes an adapter bracket for fixing the Z-axis to the granite base.
■Cable management
A suitable cable set is included in the scope of delivery for all systems. Cable set includes 5m long drive cables per axis. If short cables are required, such as when mounting the controller to a base frame (accessory), a short cable set with a length of 2m can be used as an accessory.
