The next-generation 8680i wearable mini mobile computer supports Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi networks and fits securely in one hand. A small mobile computer with a wireless 2D scanner designed for high reading performance that speeds up tasks such as picking, sorting, shelving, and packaging.
■Features
・Future transactions: Skip the step of picking up a handy scanner, reducing the time per task by 5 seconds. It is excellent at preventing camera shake and reading moving objects, and can read even soiled printed codes quickly and accurately.
- Robust & Durable: Withstands 2,000 falls from a height of 50cm and is IP54 waterproof and dustproof, it is durable even in harsh environments.
・AFH Bluetooth prevents interference and improves connectivity and security. Industrial Bluetooth Class 1 module allows communication up to a maximum distance of 100m.
・Lightweight design: Ergonomically designed, 17% lighter than conventional products.
・Options to choose from: Ring or glove type, standard or large capacity batteries available. Large capacity battery (optional) allows continuous scanning of over 8,000 items for approximately 10 hours.
・Two versions to choose from: In addition to the standard version, the high-performance version with enhanced functionality features a customizable screen, Wi-Fi, and application development SDK, and can be used as a standalone device to replace scanners and handheld terminals.
・Dedicated Bluetooth access point: Can connect up to 7 wearable scanners using Honeywell's dedicated small Bluetooth access point (optional). You can easily set up by simply connecting the USB cable connected to the access point to the wearable scanner and reading the barcode.
