The Honeywell 8690i wearable device is a compact, high-performance, hands-free mini mobile computer that helps improve workflow efficiency and reduce costs.
It replaces RFID readers, scanners, and mobile computers, enabling a single device and streamlined workflow for many applications. A customizable user-facing display conveys workflow instructions, and a two-button interface allows users to navigate menus and confirm selections. You can also enable offline functionality with TotalFreedom™ plug-in development and connect directly to network applications using Wi-Fi and SDKs. The wearable 8690i mobile computer allows you to integrate common applications such as picking, packing, and sorting into one device.

- Industry standard EPC Global Class 1 2nd generation RFID reader allows the 8690i to read all common supply chain RFID tags.
The 8690i device reduces acquisition and operating costs with a customizable gaze-aware color display, WiFi, and SDK for application development, and supports streamlined workflows as a standalone device that replaces scanners, readers, and mobile computers. .
Field-reconfigurable accessories that allow ring or glove attachment and can be customized for multiple applications. Device and battery chargers are available in 4-bay or 12-bay options for distributed or large-scale integrated deployments.
- Engineered to withstand 2,000 0.5 meter (1.6 foot) falls, the 8690i wearable minimobile is designed to withstand harsh work environments and real-world use.
Honeywell Operational Intelligence workflow analytics manage battery life and ensure uninterrupted full-shift operations with easy deployment of configuration and firmware updates.
