The Model 705 High Temperature Sensor is specifically designed to detect flammable gases in hot, hazardous locations. Typical applications include turbine housings and drying ovens used in solvent-based printing and coating machines.
These applications require reliable and stable sensing sensors with low-level alarm settings over a wide temperature range. The Model 705 High Temperature Sensor utilizes a pair of specially matched Sieger poison-resistant flammable gas sensing elements to provide an alarm trip point over a -25°C to +150°C (-3°F to +302°F) temperature range. It has a very stable baseline that can be set to 5% LEL. The gas measurement range can be set from 0 to 20% LEL up to 0 to 100% LEL depending on the type of controller used.
The detector element is housed in a UL Hazardous Area Listed, explosion-proof assembly with an industry standard 3-wire mV bridge output that can be connected to a suitable control device or converted to an analog output signal via a field transmitter. We provide
