■Product overview
E3Point can detect a wide range of toxic and flammable gases in commercial buildings and outbuildings, including CO, NO2, O2, H2, H2S, CH4, and C3H8. It can be used as a standalone unit with single or dual gas sensing (e.g. using remote sensors) or deployed as a networked device (interoperable with BACnet, Modbus and other building automation systems). E3Point also works with existing controller-based gas monitoring systems and wired/wireless gas monitoring system components.
E3Point uses demand-controlled ventilation through relays, building automation systems (BAS), or controllers to save energy, extend fan life, and align with green building best practices. For network configurations, E3Point optimizes the performance of HVAC, fire and smoke detection, surveillance, and other building systems.
Intelligent product design reduces unit cost of ownership and increases application flexibility. The smart sensor is pre-calibrated, automatically configured during setup, and operates continuously with patented Reflex© technology that continuously monitors sensor cell status and alerts the user of fault conditions. Plug-and-play sensor cartridges, user-friendly menus, and wiring options simplify installation, maintenance, and reduce gas monitoring costs over the life of the unit.
