Honeywell has introduced Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, so Sensepoint XCL gas detectors can be installed, commissioned, and maintained from the palm of your hand. Simply pair this detector with your smartphone and Honeywell's Sensepoint XCL Gas Detector app will perform a variety of tasks wirelessly. Everything from adjusting settings to error codes can be controlled from up to 10 meters away.
Conveniently, everything you need for installation is included, allowing you to start operating in a short time. Use our simple exercise templates and standard installation toolkit. The first scale correction can be performed using only the gas detector app installed on your smartphone and a scale correction gas cylinder. There is no need for wireless instructions from the control room. Use this app to create detector profiles, select alarm settings, perform test procedures, and automatically generate commissioning reports. Reports can be sent from your mobile phone to other stakeholders or saved for quick reference during safety inspections. No paperwork required.
Sensepoint XCL is smartphone-centric, which greatly reduces the time it takes to maintain gas detectors. If you want to replace the sensor, just remove one screw on the cover plate and the app will take care of the rest. During maintenance, the app displays diagnostic information on your smartphone.
