The 301EM meets ASHRAE 15, B-52, and International Mechanical Code requirements with simple configuration and is commonly used to optimize gas detection in mechanical and cooling rooms.
A wide variety of sensors (including sensors for toxic, oxygen, and flammable gases, as well as a full range of cooling sensors), horns, strobes, and remote panels provide added flexibility to fit a variety of gas detection system solutions.

ASHRAE and B-52 safety standards are designed to minimize risk and protect the safety of mechanical room employees and the environment as a whole. Offered in specialized configurations, the 301EM machine room controller has been carefully designed to far exceed these exacting standards. The Vulcain 301EM allows you to start the fan manually, but you can also set the fan, horn, and strobe to start automatically. A latching relay for manual alarm recognition, a silence key for manually shutting off the horn, a built-in 24 Vdc output for horn operation, and two glass breaking switch accessories for manually activating the alarm make it the perfect choice.
