The Series 9300 Torque Meter is ideal for measuring torque on machines with minimal downtime. Quickly attaching the clamp-on collar to a pre-calibrated bending beam converts the I/O shaft into an instant torque transducer. The 9300 Series is ideal for applications that require repeated testing of the same system. The Clamp-on 9300 series uses a pre-calibrated bending beam that is clamped at each end by a balanced collar around a heavy wall or solid shaft to sense torque.
Each installed device selects one of the bent beam lengths to produce a specific output to the onboard RF transmitter. The strain gauge output is coupled to a readout device or control loop via an RF telemetry package. Various collars and bending beams are available to accommodate high torque ranges and shafts from 2.5in to 15.4in diameter. The operating speed is from 2,500 RPM to zero RPM. The built-in transmitter can be environmentally sealed for harsh environments and high vibration.
