■Product overview
Model 1602A and 1602A-01 propulsion monitoring systems fit shafts from 381mm to 762mm [15in to 30in] in diameter. The system is enclosed in a durable external cover and contains the electronic reading assembly within a waterproof enclosure. Together, these units can measure shaft torque and revolutions per minute (RPM). Digital decoding displays torque, RPM, and calculated horsepower.
A built-in calibration check circuit can be activated at any time to ensure that all local displays and outputs are functional. By choosing this system, you can expect improved stability and reduced maintenance. The Model 1602A/01 system can be used in a variety of applications, including fuel conservation programs, hull and propeller fouling, twin-screw aircraft load balancing, power plant monitoring, and torsion instrumentation for sea trials.
