■Product overview
The Model 1603A and 1603A-01 power measurement systems are identical to the Model 1602A system except for the removal of the shaft sensor unit cover, which allows installation in tight spaces such as existing covers or under deck plates. The system fits shaft sizes from 63.5 mm to 391 mm [2.5 in to 15.4 in] in diameter.
The system includes an electronic readout assembly within a waterproof enclosure. These devices provide a means to measure shaft torque and RPM. A digital readout is available that displays torque, RPM, and calculated horsepower. A built-in calibration check circuit can be activated at any time to ensure that all local displays and outputs are functional. By choosing this system, you can expect improved stability and reduced maintenance.
The Model 1603A and 1603A-01 systems can be used for a variety of applications, including fuel conservation programs, hull and propeller fouling, power plant monitoring, and sea trial torsion meters.
