Honeywell Relialign™ CDI Series Residential Door Interlock Switches are designed in the United States for use in swing door applications, specifically food and dish elevators, material elevators, handicap elevators, and residential swing door elevators. It is an electromechanical device. In Canada, CDIs are designed for use and purpose in swing door applications (particularly food and dish elevators, material elevators, and residential elevators), but are not designed for use in handicap elevators. The interlock holds the door in place and prevents it from opening under unsafe conditions (such as when the elevator/lift vehicle is not in the door position).
The CDI series interlocks are configurable, available in left-handed and right-handed versions, and are easy to install, customize, and allow for additional improvements to current designs. Different designs improve safety, reduce downtime and callbacks, and simplify wiring and installation.
