In addition to selecting audio streams from your Livewire® network for local use, the xSelector features one stereo input and one stereo output for locally created streams from your audio workstation or portable audio device. It can be quickly distributed over the network. Each xSelector can create one stereo Livewire stream, which will be available to other devices on the Livewire network
-Local I/O is displayed for both AES digital and analog balanced inputs and outputs. Users can input audio into either balanced analog input or AES input
AES output and analog output are active at the same time and the same audio is present on both outputs
Contains two GPIO closures that appear on standard DB-15 connectors, allowing mechanical control of associated devices
xSelector's stereo output can be either a locally created audio stream or a single stereo Livewire stream obtained from the network (easily selected from a list of available streams using the front panel OLED display) can be assigned to
- Assign six frequently used streams to "radio buttons" on the front panel for immediate access. Film cap button can be labeled with the name of the assigned channel if desired
Dual Livewire 100BASE-T Ethernet ports allow redundant connectivity to Livewire audio networks
A front panel headphone jack and volume control make the xSelector a valuable addition to dubbing and ingesting stations where minimal infrastructure is desired.
- Has a built-in HTTP server for easy remote control using a PC and web browser
