Hitachi's hybrid vacuum circuit breaker is an electromagnetic actuator that uses a uniquely devised simple mechanism and greaseless solid-lubricated bearings (dry bearings) to reduce maintenance. The range of application has been further expanded by adding the 7.2kV 3,000A series.
Features
■Hybrid electromagnetic actuator
The electromagnetic actuator, which is the heart of the VCB, is a hybrid type that combines three types of driving force: a permanent magnet, an electromagnet, and a pull-out spring, and its simple mechanism increases reliability.
■Using solid lubricated bearings
A solid lubricant is used in the bearing, making it greaseless. Therefore, the mechanism does not require lubrication throughout its life.
■Significantly reduced number of parts
The number of parts has been significantly reduced because the structure of the operating device has been simplified. (compared to conventional spring actuator: 86% fewer parts)
■Reducing maintenance effort and improving reliability
Compared to conventional spring-operated VCBs, maintenance efforts are significantly reduced due to longer inspection intervals and fewer failures.
■Reducing the capacity of the operating power supply
The capacity of the operating power supply has been reduced. (80% reduction compared to conventional spring-operated VCB) Since the operation power supply capacity is small, it can be operated with dry batteries. (Optional items available)
■Compliant standards
JEC-2300-1998, JIS C4603-1990 compliant
