■Mold transformer NF series
Compared to the old JIS product (JIS C 4306-1999) that is currently widely used, this transformer has achieved a significant energy-saving effect by reducing loss by approximately 50%. In addition, we have improved insulation performance and manufacturing technology to reduce the installation area to the same level as conventional Top Runner transformers.
By improving core manufacturing technology, we have reduced noise emitted from transformers by approximately 10dB to 20dB compared to JIS C 4306-2013 standard values. The seismic strength of the transformer body of 1,000kVA or less corresponds to 2G, and the displacement of the terminals is suppressed to 50mm or less.
■Grounding of contact prevention plate
The main body is equipped with a ground terminal exclusively for the cross-contact prevention plate. It is temporarily connected to the frame ground terminal at the time of shipment. During installation, remove the temporary connection from the grounding terminal dedicated to the cross-contact prevention plate, and connect a grounding wire that meets the Class B grounding conditions.
Articles 24 and 25 of the Electrical Equipment Technical Standards stipulate that grounding of the cross-contact prevention plate of a transformer must be performed using Class B grounding work. Regarding grounding of the frame, according to Article 29, it is necessary to perform class A grounding work for frames for high voltage and extra high voltage.
Therefore, to ground the cross-contact prevention plate, it is necessary to provide a dedicated grounding terminal for the cross-contact prevention plate and perform Class B grounding work independently.
