For PRESI sample embedding, we propose resins and embedding methods according to customer priorities such as curing time, shrinkage, temperature, viscosity, conductivity, and permeability. For example, if you want to suppress polishing sag on hard materials, we recommend resins with low shrinkage and high hardness, such as thermosetting resins and cold-curing epoxy resin IP. This IP has high permeability due to vacuum defoaming (impregnation), so it is suitable for embedding porous materials.
There is also room-temperature curing resin that takes about 10 minutes to cure, which is very effective when you need to analyze the same day or when you have a large number of samples. We also have a wide range of peripheral equipment such as equipment and molds to effectively embed these resins, greatly improving the accuracy of our customers' sample preparation.
