About This Product
This is a PCI board that controls stepping motors and servo motors (pulse train input type). This type can control up to 8 axes of motors. Multi-axis independent control and linear/circular interpolation control can be performed via the motor driver unit. Positioning information can be stored up to 1024 frames for each axis, allowing synchronous control of multiple axes.
Additionally, it is possible to override the speed/target position during operation. These rich functions allow you to build complex positioning control systems for a wide range of applications such as manufacturing equipment and inspection equipment.

■Multi-axis independent control possible, maximum pulse output of 6.5Mpps possible
It is possible to control up to 8 axes and output motor control pulses up to 6.5Mpps. Command pulses for motor control are compatible with common pulses, independent pulses, and 90 degree phase difference pulses. Equipped with 3 limit inputs/axis, 7 general-purpose inputs/axis, and 3 general-purpose outputs/axis. Additionally, by setting the software, the 6 general-purpose inputs can be used as alarm inputs, and the general-purpose outputs can be used as deviation counter clear outputs.
■Various control operations such as positioning, linear/circular interpolation, continuous frame operation, and synchronous control are possible.
A variety of controls are possible, including positioning, return to origin, linear/circular interpolation, S-curve acceleration/deceleration, continuous frame operation, and synchronous control. It is possible to replace (override) the speed/target position during operation. Japan Pulse Motor Co., Ltd.'s "PCL6045 series" is used as the motor control IC.
■Various output formats that can be connected to the encoder input circuit
The encoder input circuit can be connected with differential output, TTL level output, and open collector output.
■Target positioning information can be stored for up to 1,024 frames for each axis and can be controlled without putting a burden on the CPU.
Up to 1,024 frames can be stored for each axis, with parameters such as travel speed, acceleration/deceleration rate, and travel distance required for motor operation (information required for one-time positioning) being defined as one frame. In addition, since the control from the end of one frame to the start of the next frame is mainly performed by hardware, it is possible to perform complex continuous positioning operations at high speed. After a frame has been executed, it can be repeated again (loop behavior).
■Has synchronized control function for multiple sheets and multiple axes, making it possible to synchronize the timing of operation start and stop.
Simultaneous start/stop control of multiple axes and synchronous control of linear interpolation operations are possible.
