About This Product
This product is an expansion board that adds 8 photocoupler isolated digital input/output points (reverse common type) to Raspberry Pi. This is a HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) size expansion board that is stack-connected using a 40-pin pin header, and adds the necessary interface for measurement control to Raspberry Pi.
Features
■Uses push-type block terminal block for easy wiring
Adopts a convenient and easy-to-use block terminal block that requires no tools or crimp terminals, and can be attached and detached while the wires are connected.
■Supports stack connection of up to 8 cards
Address ID settings have been expanded to HAT specifications, allowing up to 8 stacks to be connected. *Can be mixed with other companies' HATs. When connecting in a stack, please use our RAS function expansion board (model: CPI-RAS), which provides stable power supply.
■API compatible with PC expansion boards, compatible with Python
API compatible with our PCI Express / PCI / USB / Ethernet type measurement control devices. You can reuse development assets on multiple platforms. We provide sample programs for Python and GCC so you can start programming right away.
■Photocoupler isolated input (current sink/source output compatible), photocoupler isolated output (current source type)
Equipped with 8 photocoupler isolated inputs (current sink/source output compatible) and 8 photocoupler isolated outputs (current source type). Since the common configuration is in units of 8 points, each common can support different external power supplies. The driving voltage is compatible with 12 ~ 24VDC for both input and output.
■Bus insulation using photo coupler
The Raspberry Pi's GPIO 40PIN connector and input/output interface are isolated using a photocoupler, providing excellent noise resistance.
■Supports ambient temperature of -20 ~ 60°C
It is compatible with ambient temperature environments of -20 to 60°C and can be used in various environments.
