■Features
- The latest small, lightweight valve actuator that can be easily installed on existing manual valves and converted to automatic valves. (Applicable valves are 2B~40B or more)
- Constructed of spur gears with surface hardening treatment, there is almost no wear on the gears, allowing for highly efficient operation. Equipped as standard with a special torque setting device (torque limiter) that always keeps the cutoff torque constant. There is no damage to the valve due to rinsing, and the opening/closing operation is smooth.
・The air motor uses a vane type, which has been well-received for a long time, and rotation is quiet and smooth.
・With a dedicated manual handle, manual operation is easy in case of emergency. (During automatic operation, the manual handle does not rotate, so it is safe.)
・Since the components are unitized, modification, maintenance, and inspection are easy.
- Valve opening output is also possible by installing a potentiometer.
■What is a torque limiter?
This mechanism was developed to close the valve with stable and appropriate torque. (Patent No. 1993887) This structure uses a spring balance method to accurately detect the valve's closing torque and stops the air motor when the specified torque is reached. Therefore, it is extremely valve-friendly and has a safe and secure structure that will not cause complaints such as over-tightening of the valve or the valve not opening after tightening. In addition, the cut-off torque can be easily adjusted on-site.
Because it can be easily installed while the existing manual valve is still attached to the pipeline, it can be easily automated, eliminating valve malfunctions, ensuring safe plant operation, and achieving labor savings.
