■Intelligent differential input
Traditional oscilloscope probes make single-ended measurements between a high impedance input and a low impedance ground. Differential oscilloscopes make measurements between two high-impedance inputs, allowing measurements to be made between components or test points that are not grounded on either side.
Differential inputs also reject common mode noise. This means that noise picked up equally on both high impedance inputs is rejected. Each of the PicoScope 4444's four input channels has an intelligent probe interface that detects and identifies compatible probes and provides power as needed. Each channel has its own selection of voltage or current probes.
