The model TG53 bimetal thermometer was developed and manufactured in accordance with ASME B40.200 standards. This thermometer offers high quality and high performance, making it an ideal choice for process industries. The rugged, sealed case with IP66 (NEMA 4X) protection rating allows use even in harsh external conditions.
Designed specifically for use in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, power engineering and shipbuilding industries, the TG53 meets stringent requirements regarding resistance to corrosive media. As an available option, the stem and process connections can be made of 316 stainless steel.
The TG53 offers the industry's widest range of dampening options and is capable of operation even in severe vibration conditions. These options include cases containing bearings filled with dampening material to minimize pointer vibration.
An easily accessible reset screw on the back of the case allows for quick and limited reference temperature adjustment, reducing maintenance and recalibration costs. TG53 is also available in a variety of stem lengths (insertion length L1) to optimize suitability and performance for your application.
