About This Product
■Ethernet interface
FL SWITCH 1824 has 24 Ethernet ports in RJ45 format. Mount it in a 19-inch rack (482 mm) with AC power. Data transmission speed is 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps. Each port also has a 100 Mbps autocross function, so you don't have to worry about whether your Ethernet cable is straight or crossover.
Includes mounting bracket and German power cord. Also includes rack connection bracket screws.
Switching characteristics of FL SWITCH 1824
■Store and forward
All data telegrams received by the switch are stored and validated. Invalid or abnormal data packets (>1522 bytes or CRC errors) and fragments (<64 bytes) are removed. Valid data telegrams are forwarded by the switch. This switch always forwards data at the communication speed used by the intended network segment.
■Multi-address function
The switch independently learns the addresses of end devices connected to its ports by parsing the destination addresses in data telegrams. A packet will be forwarded to that port only if it has an unknown address, is an incoming address from that port, or the outgoing address is a multi/broadcast address packet.
This switch can store up to 8192 MAC addresses in the address table.
■Quality of Service (QoS)
With IEEE 802.1P/Q revised specification VC03 and above, the FL SWITCH 1824 switch has the ability to read Ethernet packets that have been assigned a priority level on a managed switch. Four priority queues are supported.
The highest priority queue supports packet priorities 6 and 7, the next lowest priority queue supports packet priorities 4 and 5, the next lowest priority queue supports packet priorities 2 and 3, and The lowest queue supports packet priorities 0 and 1. After prioritization, packets are forwarded without modification.
