j-fiber, established in 1994 and based in Jena, Germany, is an industrial-scale manufacturer of optical glass fibers for data transmission.
The company produces multimode telecom fibers and single-mode and specialty fibers for telecom and datacom networks and LAN applications. They offer a portfolio of fiber requirements according to customer needs. j-fiber also provides customer-specific services, including colors, ring marking, fiber setting and buffers. To accommodate the demand for single-mode fibers, j-fiber formed the joint venture "j-fiber Hengtong GmbH" with the Hengtong Group for production capacity purposes.
