Motofil S.A., founded in 1981 and headquartered in Ilhavo, Portugal, is a manufacturer of cutting and robotized welding machines.
The company started out as a small manufacturer of electric motors, enameled wire, and small welding machines. Today, it specializes in robotic machines that provide welding, cutting, and part handling, as well as sanding and polishing. It also offers a complete line of tooling for machining, milling, and riveting used in the manufacture of commercial aircraft.
The company has installed over 2,000 projects worldwide with its partners, which include Froweld, Praxair, and AGT Robotics.
